Shelter & Rescue Support Initiatives
At Critter & Co., we are deeply committed to supporting local animal shelters and rescue organizations that align with our values and initiatives aimed to enhance the well-being of animals in need and promote responsible pet ownership within our community.
Donation Programs
We have an in-store donation box where customers can contribute pet supplies, food (unopened and unexpired), and other essentials. These donations are regularly distributed to local shelters and rescues to assist in their daily operations and care for animals awaiting adoption.
We gladly accept the following items:
- Bowls
- Dog apparel
- Unopened bags of pet food (unexpired)
- Clean towels, blankets, and bedding
- New or gently used leashes, collars, and harnesses
- Pet toys
- Crates and carriers
- Grooming supplies
- Pee pads
- Kitty litter
Community Events
We are actively looking to participate in and host events such as adoption drives, fundraising activities, and educational workshops. These events are designed to raise awareness about animal welfare, encourage community involvement, and support the missions of local shelters and rescues.
Partnerships with Local Rescues
By collaborating with nearby shelters and rescue organizations, we strive to provide resources, support adoption initiatives, and promote volunteer opportunities. Our goal is to create a network of care that benefits both the animals and the community.
Educational Outreach
We offer resources and information on responsible pet ownership, the importance of spaying and neutering, and the benefits of adopting from shelters. Through our community page and in-store materials, we aim to educate and empower pet owners and potential adopters.
