Open Position: Key Holder / Retail Sales Associate

Who We’re Looking For
Are you a motivated, customer-focused individual who is passionate about pets? As a Key Holder / Retail Sales Associate, you’ll be the face of Critter & Co., delivering exceptional service to our customers while promoting our curated selection of dog and cat products. If you’re friendly, organized, and eager to learn, we’d love for you to join the Critter Squad!

Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement & Sales: Operate the POS system to assist customers, answer questions, and provide tailored product recommendations.
  • Inventory Management: Keep our shelves organized and fully stocked with items.
  • Store Upkeep: Ensure a welcoming environment by performing tasks like sweeping, dusting, and general maintenance.
  • Team Support: Assist with additional tasks as needed to create a smooth and enjoyable shopping experience for our customers.

What You Bring

  • Customer Service Experience: Prior experience in retail or customer service is ideal.
  • POS Proficiency: Willingness to learn our POS system (training provided).
  • Friendly Personality: A positive, outgoing attitude and strong communication skills.
  • Reliability & Punctuality: Ability to meet attendance requirements, including some weekends and evenings.
  • Time Management Skills: Ability to stay organized and multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Basic Math Skills: For handling transactions and managing inventory.
